Featuring more than 40 traditional party games

Expanding the ranks of its own Touch Generations brand, Nintendo today announced the release of Clubhouse Games for the DS, featuring more than 40 traditional party games including checkers, darts, and poker.

Aside from the standard single player mode, players can also take advantage of the title's wireless capabilities, providing both single-cart local play and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Also revealed within the announcement is the official release date of forthcoming Touch Generations game Nintendogs: Dalmatian & Friends, hitting stores October 18.

The game is a limited edition version of the portable puppy-training program released on the Nintendo DS last year, and will let users train and care for a puppy chosen from one of the six starter breeds: Dalmatian, golden retriever, Yorkshire terrier, beagle, boxer, and German shepherd. To date in the United States, the three versions of Nintendogs have sold more than 2.2 million units combined.
