The complete walkthrough for Chapter Four: Claustrophobia.

This week we've brought you complete walkthroughs for Chapters One, Two and Three of the fiendishly tricky escape game Doors & Rooms.

Chapter Four: Claustrophobia will give any puzzle fan a serious mental workout. If you've found yourself stuck, here's the complete walkthrough for the entire fourth chapter of the game.

Level 4:1

The floor is made from tappable paving stones. If you tap on the small rectangle to the left of the door, you'll see a code which indicates the coordinates for which stones to tap. If you just want to get out of there, draw a diagonal line of stones from the bottom left-hand corner, to the top right (ending just to the right of the door). The door will open, and you can move on to the next challenge.

Level 4:2

First of all, grab the hammer which is next to the anvil at the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. Now, grab the skull from the pile of bones in the top left-hand corner. In the inventory, combine the hammer with the skull to create a pile of bone dust. See the barely visible etchings on the left-hand wall? Use the dust on that part of the screen to make the etching clearer. This is your map for leaving the room safely, and you need to use the zeroes as a guide for entering the directional commands on the door panel. Here's the code if you need it: Right, Down, Down, Right, Right, Up, Right, Right, Down, Down, Left, Down, Down, Right, Right.

Level 4:3

Tap all over the skeleton on the spiked wall until you have two cogs and a piece of paper in your possession. Now pick up the piece of tubing that's lying on the right-hand side of the wall. Tap on the person wearing the blue jacket, and retrieve the blue, green and red cogs, as well as the hammer. Combine the tube with the hammer and use it on the cog on the ceiling. Pick up the gray cog that's dropped to the floor. Dismantle the green cog, and combine the blue and the gold cogs. Now tap on the cog screen on the left wall. Place the red cog in the top-left slot, the gray cog in the top-right slot, and the combination cog in the bottom slot. Tap on the section of the wall that's no longer spiked and leave the room!

Level 4:4

An easier one this time! Pushing down the stone buttons will cause blades to appear. Each blade will have one or more 1s written on it. Compare that to the writing on the wall to unlock the code you need to exit the room. If there's more than one 1 on a blade, add together the numbers on the wall accordingly. The exit code is: 8543

Level 4:5

Tap all over the screen until you've picked up the following objects: a water bottle, matches, a wrench and a teddy bear. Light the candle with the matches. Dismantle the teddy bear into all of its furry little components. Dismantle each component. Combine the cotton wool with the water, then use the wrench on the pipe on the left-hand wall. Immediately use the wet cotton-wool on this exposed gas leak. Now use the piping you retrieved from the wall on the candle, then use the gem on the piping. This illuminates a code on the ceiling, which you need to enter on the abacus on the wall to leave the room. Note that the top beads on the abacus represent five units, while the bottom beads represent one.

Level 4:6

Halfway there! You're in a dark room so scroll around the screen with a finger-press until you see a tiny speck of white light. Tap on it to pick up a lighter, then use it over the screen until you've lit the candle. Collect all of the little colored bottles sitting on the shelf, as well as the plank of wood on the floor, then tap the typewriter and take the sheet of paper from it for a clue. There's a circle drawn on the floor. Place the colored bottles in this circle in the following order: red, yellow, green, blue, purple. Use the pliers on the teeth of the corpse in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Once its mouth opens, pick up the typewriter keys and observe the numbers on the bloodied keys. The number written on each key is equivalent to the letter's position in the alphabet. Using these numbers, plus the alphabetical position of the other bloodied keys on the typewriter, you get the exit code: 851216. Use this on the combination lock to leave the room.

Level 4:7

Collect the shovel that's lying on the floor, then use it on the graves until you've exposed all four skeletons and picked up the puzzle pieces from the bones. Place the puzzle pieces on the altar, using the red dots as a placement guide. Those skeletons on the wall are telling the time, with the hands representing the hour hand, and the feet the minutes hands. As a formula, this equates to 12:20 minus 1:45 which equals 10:35. Enter the code 1035 into the door to leave.

Level 4:8

First, grab the pen off the desk and the screwdriver head from the cabinet drawer. Dismantle the pen in the inventory, then combine the pen lid and screwdriver head. Use your newly created screwdriver on the panel to the right of the facing wall, then pull the lever inside. Pick up the key that's now lying in the puddle of water, then use it on the metal box next to the desk. Inside you'll find a note and a roll of duct tape to put in your inventory. Use the duct tape on the exposed electrical wiring in the puddle. Now turn the power back on. The note you picked up shows directional instructions for gaining numbers from the circled date on the calendar. This gives you the code 9273, which you'll need to enter on the door entry system to escape the room.

Level 4:9

Pick up the portrait from the corpse's hand and observe the picture. Make note of that mysterious phrase 'New Sense'. Each letter indicates a compass position: N for North, S for South, e for East, w for West. See the picture marked N on the left-hand side of the screen? She's got 7 beads on her necklace. Check the other pictures of the lady to get the numbers that relate to North, South, East and West. Now enter the code for 'New Sense' on the dynamite panel: 759 45745. You can now tap on the door and leave!

Level 4:10

The chapter finale! This is another clock-based puzzle. Turn your iOS device so that the roman number XXIV appears at the top. Those little stars around the screen represent hours, while the shorter planet beam represents the hour hand, and the longer one represents the minute hand. This gives you the time of 8:15. On the panel by the door, fill in 8 dots on the left hand section, 1 dot in the middle, and 5 dots on the right-hand section. Voila! You're done with Chapter Four: Claustrophobia.
