Keep on rolling.
Giant Boulder of Death is a hilariously fun take on the free-running genre, where you avenge the death of your crushed girlfriend by rolling over everything.
However, as simple as the game looks, there are a few tactics you'll need to master to get the most from it. Thankfully, we've got some tips to help you along.
-Upgrade as much as you can. When you first start, you're a sizable boulder, but not strong enough to clear spike strips from a distance, or knock over giant structures like houses and buildings. Once you earn enough coins, though, you can really make your boulder a force to be reckoned with.
-Being an Invinciboulder is a thing of beauty. Not only will you change appearance, but you'll be able to roll through everything - even spike strips and walls - with ease. That said, make sure you upgrade your Invinci Duration as well, so you'll have more destructive power once it activates.
-Giant Boulder of Death is free-to-play, but before you go plunking down cash for additional coins, take advantage of the free options. You'll earn extra coins for following Adult Swim Games on Twitter and Facebook, even if you don't continue to do so later. It's a good way to load up your account with 2,000 coins.
-Spike strips are fairly easy to avoid - you just have to get the timing of your jump down. Get the hang of jumping in the beginning of the game so you see what it does for you, then put it to good use as you clear the strips and continue onward.
-Run into as many objects as you can. Running over people, cows and trees starts a chain reaction where they'll damage anything they hit. It's especially good to run into fences or large groups of trees, as you can start a mini landslide that mows over everything.
-Even if your boulder isn't strong enough, you should never pass up the opportunity to run into buildings. You'll earn several points in the process, and still get credit for certain challenges that lie ahead. On a side note, try to jump before running into a building. You'll score extra damage and more points.
-Watch out for holes! Most of the objects that can end your boulder's run are noticeable from a distance, but large holes have a way of sneaking up on you, covered by a ridge or a building. When you get past 2,000 meters, stick to whatever high ground you can find. You'll get a better lay of the land, with enough timing to clear whatever gaps get in the way.
