I-Play announced plans today to bring 11 Oberon casual PC titles to mobile, including puzzler Hexic from Tetris creator Alexei Pajitnov. Oberon acquired the mobile publisher earlier this year. Specific release dates were not announced, although the company did state that the first Oberon ports will drop in Q4.
The complete list of titles:
- Hexic
- Mozaki Blocks
- Flowerz
- Slinky Jungle
- Fish Tycoon
- Spin & Win
- Bricks of Egypt
- Bricks of Atlantis
- Magic Match
- Bubble Town
- Saints & Sinners Bingo
I-play noted that four of the 11 are multi-million sellers, and described the complete line-up as "hitting the casual sweet spot that represents the most popular gaming category on mobile today."
"I-play has always been committed to driving the mass-market casual game genre on mobile," I-Play President David Gosen said in a statement. "The combination with Oberon with their leading position within the online games market provides the ideal opportunity to drive real growth to this vital market sector and demonstrates one of the many synergies being delivered by the linking of the two companies."
