A bond as strong as any adhesive
Glu Mobile has just announced that it's secured an agreement with Sony Pictures Television International (SPTI) that allows it to distribute mobile games in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand on behalf of SPTI.
"We're proud to partner with SPTI on this extensive distribution deal," said Greg Ballard, president and chief executive officer, Glu. "SPTI offers world class brands and top-quality mobile games. This partnership gives SPTI the global reach that its properties deserve and solidifies Glu's position as the independent partner of choice for companies with global IP."
This deal comes just in time for the release of SPTI's mobile adaptation of the upcoming movie, "Hancock", which launches in June along with updated versions of past hits like Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
