The PSP tactical shooter has arrived
SCEA has announced the release of Killzone: Liberation, available on the PSP. The tactical shooter is the second game by Guerrilla Games in the Killzone franchise, and is not to be mistaken as Killzone 2 (we all know where that one is headed).
During the game, players take on a strategic third person perspective, making use of a Tactical Command System to issue orders to AI comrades. With game-sharing capabilities, the multiplayer mode will support six-player Ad-Hoc with a variety of games such as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Assault, and Capture the Flag.
Launching simultaneously today with the game is the official community website, located at Killzone.com. By accessing the site, players will be able to construct and maintain a profile, compete with friends list and personal achievements tracker. New multiplayer maps and other free downloads will also be available on the website sometime in the near future.
