Gameloft announced today that they have reached an agreement with the NBA to develop and publish two licensed NBA mobile games.
First of which is NBA Smash!, a 2-on-2 arcade basketball game that sounds eerily similar to NBA Jam. The game will be released in May. A second unannounced title will take a more realistic and simulated approach in September.
"The NBA is one of the great global sports leagues whose tremendous popularity spans from North America to Europe and Asia, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to develop NBA mobile games," said Gonzague de Vallois, senior vice president of publishing, Gameloft. "By featuring every NBA player and team, along with a spectacular gameplay, our games will deliver an authentic look and feel that will make them stand out from the competition"
