A different kind of hero
Dark Hunter
These guys use whips and swords to inflict status ailments and bind enemies, but they can also ensnare enemies in a variety of deadly traps. Their greatest strength is that they're able to react to both physical and magic attacks regardless of the weapon they're using.
Force Skill: Bondage (it's in good taste, I promise)
Essentially a paralyze spell, the limbs of an enemy unit are bound preventing them from moving or acting in any way.
Hexer
Essentially the debuff class of the game, hexers are out to cripple the opponent rather than destroy them. Enemies will find themselves poisoned, paralyzed, blinded, cursed, terrified and force to nod off when facing these potent casters. The terror status effect even allows the hexer to take command of an enemy unit, forcing it to attack its comrades or even destroy itself ("stop hittin' yourself).
Force Skill: Caprice
If you're the type that likes to play the slots just to see what comes up then you'll like this skill: it afflicts the enemy party with a number of random status ailments, leaving them in a decidedly sorry state. I can't imagine that being both terrified and asleep would be very dignified.
War Magus
A hybrid class combining medical skills with melee combat, the war magus can fill dual roles in a party and can prove useful in just about any combat situation. Its healing and supporting are stronger than its fighting but it's still sturdy enough to be able to stand on its own if it should run out of TP during a fight.
Force Skill: Invoke
A spell anyone's sure to find useful, the war magus prays intently and restores the HP of its entire party while strengthening their resistance stats in the process.
