Majesco Announces Wonder World Amusement Park

All the fun without the three hour line-ups and shady dealers.
No, it's not another Rollercoaster Tycoon or Theme Park clone, Majesco's latest DS game is one that puts you in the shoes of park attendees rather than park owners. Players will be able to compete in a number of theme park staples including shooting, fishing, ball tossing and driving for a total of 24 minigames in five uniquely themed zones. Doing well in these games rewards players with tickets that can be redeemed for accessories and prizes they can then use to customize their avatars. Additional game modes, minigames and even an extra park zone will also be unlockable for the diligent player.
"Our internal team is very excited to be developing original Majesco IP for such a strong, marketable concept," said Bill Petro, Vice President of Internal Development and Studio Head for Majesco Studios Santa Monica. "Wonder World for DS is a perfect complement to the Wii version and includes additional features that take advantage of the Touch Screen play to maximize the portable fun."
Wonder World Amusement Park should be available sometime around the holiday season.
