E3 2006: New Nintendo DS Games Revealed!
Because we can always use more Yoshi and Star Fox!
During today's pre-E3 press conference, Nintendo of America stood strong behind its powerful handheld, the Nintendo DS, and its forthcoming follow-up, the DS Lite. But with that, they also unveiled a number of new games coming our way for the touch-screen wonder.
First up- an all new Yoshi's Island. Yoshi's Island II will continue the adventure from the first game, and will also introduce new characters, including baby Peach and baby Donkey Kong. How precious.
Mario Hoops: 3 On 3 was also shown, showing a better utilization of the gameplay than what we've seen before in the game's earlier unveiling.
Star Fox DS looks to be blazing a trail of its own, promising a number of slick gameplay features and tons of multiplayer capability. Sounds good to us.
Chibi-Robo- A variation of the hit GameCube game.
Diddy Kong Racing returns the classic Rare-fueled racing action, this time for the Nintendo DS. Players can probably expect wireless racing hook-ups and a number of new tracks and options to explore.
Finally, Mario Vs. DK: March of Minis was unveiled, featuring a number of new levels as well as the ability to create your own.
We'll have better looks at all of these games in the days ahead at E3.
