European Gamers to Receive Slew of New Atlus Titles
Thanks to NIS America, these great games are headed to Europe.
Too often, European gamers are left out in the cold when it comes to niche titles. Fortunately, NIS America has seen fit that European fans will not be left out this time around, having taken three Atlus titles under its wing for a 2015 and early 2016 release. This news comes not a moment too soon, as one of the titles, Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker, is headed for release shortly in May in the West, with Etrian Mystery Dungeon headed out as well.
Both Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker and Etrian Mystery Dungeon will be releasing in Europe, with Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight finding a place on store shelves as well. Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker is but one of the many spin-off series from the darkier, grittier alternative Shin Megami Tensei franchise and a follow-up to the title that originated on the DS. In a world where demons can be summoned by a simple cell phone app, teenagers with special powers are called upon to defend the world from certain destruction. It's scheduled to release in Europe this fall.
Etrian Mystery Dungeon is coming this fall as well, and could very well be the longest of the three games, combining both Etrian Odyssey and Mystery Dungeon together for random dungeon treks that you can delve into again and again. Etrian Dungeon fans already into the series will also be pleased to hear that Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight will be cominb with an updated version of Etrian Odyssey 2: Heroes of Lagaard, which originally made its debut on the original Nintendo DS, coming packaged with a different "Untold" story. We'll see this game coming to store shelves in 2016.
All three games will be getting both physical and digital copies, though it's still pretty difficult to decide which one you should be the most excited about. Even despite the fact that living in the West I'll be seeing these releases pretty soon, I'm still excited to see that players all over the world will be able to experience these games, despite their location. Which one are you looking forward to the most?
