Today's Nintendo Direct Showcases Even More of Xenoblade Chronicles X
This game is looking like it's gonna be just as good as it's spiritual predecessor.
Hot on the heels of the re-release of Xenoblade Chronicles for the New Nintendo 3DS comes Xenoblade Chronicles X for the Wii U. Although it's not an actual sequel to the original title, Xenoblade Chronicles X will have similar cues and themes as well as gameplay.
Today's Nintendo Direct gave us one of the best looks yet at the game, and it is shaping up to be an absolute beauty. The world of Mira and its five continents look beautiful and deadly in this footage, and I can't wait to have a go at piloting the newly christened for the West "Skell" mecha across its hazardous terrain.
Unfortunately, I'll have to wait a little longer. The game is slated for release in Japan on April 29 2015, but North American and European releases haven't been dated yet.
