Play LBX: Little Battlers eXperience This August
The popular anime, toy, and game franchise is making its way to 3DS.
Do you need more mecha in your life? Nintendo has you covered. After yesterday's surprise Nintendo Micro Direct, we learned another popular 3DS title would indeed be heading to the West. LBX: Little Battlers eXperience will be headed to a Nintendo handheld near you on August 21 later this year, with a European release in November.
The game itself is actually a tie-in with the popular toy series seen in Japan and most recently the toys, which have been slowly making their way Stateside. It's all about building and customizing miniature robots, which sounds like a party to me, especially with Nintendo's reminder that there are 130 models of robots that can be customized using up to 4000 total parts in-game, which actually level up individually. Pair that with some good, old-fashioned miltiplayer, and you've got a hit waiting to happen.
For now, try not to drool over the trailer if you happen to love giant robots. It's gonna be really hard not to. Seriously.
