Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories Releasing This Winter
This entry is skipping the 3DS in favor of iOS and Android!
After a bit of a strange few months with the release of Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley and Story of Seasons, Natsume is returning to the spotlight with the next installment in the Harvest Moon series: Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories, which is headed for Wii U, PC, iOS, and Android this winter.
Said to have taken inspiration from the original entries in the Harvest Moon franchise, this entry will feature "modern twists" during the journey to revitalize an old farm and bringing villagers together. You can also befriend them by giving them special items, like a fish you've caught or the first crow you've raised from an egg. These will unlock so-called "Seeds of Memories."
There will be plenty of animals, tasks, and more to complete as well, with cooking, foraging, mining, fishing, and tool upgrades on the roster as well as horses to ride and a faithful farm dog to keep as a pet. There's even a wild bobcat to keep as a pet if you can tame it.
There isn't really any footage or imagery to show off from the game so far yet, however, as Natsume will be displaying the game at this month's E3, which is right around the corner: June 16 through June 18. Once we hear more about it, we'll be able to bring you some additional details!
