Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes Announced For Mobile Devices
In a galxy, far far away, we'd have a release date, too. But we don't in this one. Not yet.
Though Star Wars is hardly a property that sees a dearth of mobile games releasing under its umbrella, today EA saw fit to reveal during its press conference "the Star Wars game mobile players have been waiting for": Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes.
We don't know a whole lot about the game thus far, given the fact that there wasn't much fanfare surrounding it or even really any features to be remarked on other than it's a CCG role-playing game with battle elements. It's said to feature both ships and beloved characters from the whole of Star Wars history, but the presenters didn't go into much further details than that, possibly to avoid spoiling anything for the upcoming release of The Force Awakens as it arrives later this year.
In any case, more Star Wars games is hardly bad news, especially a card-collecting adventure that promises familiar characters and plenty of reasons to keep playing and picking up more cards. We'll keep you posted as more news pops up surrounding Galaxy of Heroes, but right now it looks like EA's Samantha Ryan and the rest of the team is keeping mum.
