Minions Paradise Is Just As Adorable As You Thought It Would Be
Despicable Me features the adorable little yellow creatures known the world over as Minions, and they've taken the entire human race by storm. So it's no surprise that EA has capitalized on their mere existence, releasing a town-building and mini-game laden title known only as Minions Paradise.
During EA's press conference today at E3, Minions Paradise was debuted with a gameplay trailer and footage of the game in action. It's already in soft launch mode in New Zealand, so it's playable right now, but the rest of the world will have to wait. And it so happens that you just might want to pick it up, with all the fun and silliness that looks like it's waiting within Minions Paradise, even if you're not a fan of the silly little guys.
Obviously this is a tie-in for the Minions movie that comes out later this year, but it's interesting to have seen the game given so much screen time during an E3 conference when the majority of viewers are either journalists or hardcore gamers. Still, it looks like it's going to have plenty for players to do and it'll retain the exact kind of charm that people really seem to love about those banana yellow guys. I don't understand the love myself, but we'll be putting a review up on Modojo as soon as it launches to give our educated opinion.
