Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ Coming to iOS and Android
Finally, Kingdom Hearts extends to mobile devices!
While the Square Enix showcase during E3 showed off quite a few zingers, there were actually a few mobile titles that excited audiences as well, most notably, Kingdom Hearts Unchained Ï. It's headed to both iOS and Android in North America and is based on the browser title Kingdom Hearts Ï (that's pronounced "key," if you're curious.)
It's not especially clear as to what will be included in this mobile game, but it's absolutely adorable and features the ability to create your own Keyblade wielder, plenty of outfits, and customizable Keyblade attacks so you can create what the trailer touts as the "most personalized Kingdom Hearts experience yet." That could very well be true, but it wouldn't take much considering the series is a very character-driven endeavor already.
The app will be free to play with a bevy of in-app purchases, but it's still a very exciting endeavor, especially if you're a big fan of what Square Enix has to offer given its repertoire of games this year.
