First Look: Legend of Heroes II
Looking good for the PSP RPG sequel
Namco announced back in April that the sequel to Falcom's The Legend of Heroes: A Tear of Vermillion would be on its way to North America for the PSP later this summer, and now we have our first look of the new RPG.
Titled The Legend of Heroes II: Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch, the game's story tells of a silver haired maiden who once traveled the world of Tirasweel, spouting prophecies both good and bad. Her sudden disappearance has left many questions behind, and so establishes the game's backdrop.
Players will take control of two childhood friends, Chris and Jurio, as they embark on a quest to presumably find some answers about the Moonlight Witch, and maybe even save the world while they're at it.
The game retains much of the same visuals of its predecessor, with sprites inhabiting a colourful 2D world. The Pet system will make a return, having players care for a dog, cat, or rabbit, and the demise of random battles should be a welcome addition.
The Legend of Heroes II: Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch for the PSP is scheduled for a release this June. Check back soon for more updates.
