Additional Details Emerge On Dragon Quest Builders
Yesterday we brought you details about the upcoming Minecraft-like Dragon Quest Builders, but this week's issue of Jump has a wealth of new details to follow up with. It sounds like there's going to be a lot going on in this building game!
Players will step into the shoes of a male or female player who can supposedly create items from "all things." The player will be rebuilding the world previously destroyed by the evil Dragonlord, an evil sovereign who's ruled the world since humanity lost its only hero. The game will start off as an empty husk for players to fill with new items, towns, and castles. There'll also be monsters to battle here and there to lend a more Dragon Quest-like feel to the game.
Alefgard sounds like a pretty exciting prospect, especially for players looking for the next big thing after Minecraft. It's a bit of an odd departure, especially considering the fact that Dragon Quest is a role-playing game and not a sandbox title.
