Final Fantasy VII G-Bike Is Already Being Taken Offline
After only a year in service, the Final Fantasy VII mobile game is being taken down.
It's only been about a year, but the Final Fantasy VII G-Bike mobile game will be going away as of December 15 in Japan. It lived a very short life, and I never got to get my hands on it.
Square Enix made an announcement regarding the decision: "Although we were pushing forward with discussions until now, we've come to the conclusion that from here it will be difficult to provide a service that will satisfy our users, so today we have decided to end service."
Gem currency, the game's premium money, will cease being sold on October 13, but any gems you have can be used up until the game is taken down from the network. It originally launched on October 30 for both iOS and Android, but is now going to be going away along with several other titles, unfortunately.
