YouTube Gaming Announced For Native Android Streaming
YouTube Gaming has announced during Tokyo Game Show that gamers on Android devices will soon be able to stream their games directly from a device that uses Android. This is an interesting move since Google is directly supporting the stream, though since the announcement was during Tokyo Game Show this seems much more like something meant to scale to the Japanese mobile gaming market instead.
There's already several different game streaming sites out there that mobile gamers use, but having this type of streaming available via YouTube is going to be an interesting push forward for mobile games since it'll be a much more available method. If it ends up working well, however, it's something that Apple will need to consider adding to its own products within iOS, and thus far the company hasn't made any movements to bring this to fruition just yet. It'll be an intriguing race to see which service audiences flock to when the Android streaming is made available.
