The Lumia 950 Windows Phone Is Coming To Town
Still think you'll be Team Android or Team iOS?
In a world where you're either Android or iPhone, it's easy to forget about Windows phones, which generally aren't as well-received for some reason. Regardless of the reason, Microsoft has gone ahead and announced the upcoming Lumia 950, which will officially be Microsoft's very first Windows 10 flagship phone.
Featuring a 5.2-inch WQHD OLED display, liquid cooling (talk about advanced) that's also found in the Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and 32GB of internal storage, this bad boy is poised to give all the other phone manufacturers a run for their money.
The camera has been improved upon as well, with a 20-megapixel PureView point-and-shoot camera with a Carl Zeiss lens that comes with image stabilization and a triple-LED RGB flash.
If you're someone who routinely chooses the iPhone 6 Plus over the iPhone 6, you might want to go for the 950 XL over the regular 950, which is a larger version of the same phone with a bigger screen and the same insides for $100 more. Is it worth the extra money? That's going to be something you'll have to decide, but if it were up to me I'd always go with the bigger phone. You never know when you're going to need the extra space.
