Here's How You'll Learn to Rebuild Merkin in Dragon Quest Builders
No one ever said it was going to be easy, though.
Slowly but surely we've seen details trickling out about the upcoming Dragon Quest Builders game, but there are still several missing pieces floating around that we've not been privy to. Obviously we don't need the entire game spoiled before we get a chance to play it, but more and more information to make a purchasing decision is always a good move, right?
That's why this new set of info and screens about Dragon Quest Builders' world of Merkin is so engaging. The world that you're tasked with rebuilding is in shambles, a remnant of its former self that you'll need to restore. There are swamps, rocky mountains, grassy plains, and several other locales to explore within Merkid, so you'll need to keep your wits about you. Sometimes you might even have to delve into murky caves to see what kind of materials you can find.
Like Minecraft's gate to the Nether, you'll eventually come across "Travel Gates" as well, which will send you off to new areas that were previously unavailable. This is just as important as talking to the locals and meeting with them, so you can have hints as to what the town needs in order to successfully be rebuilt. Son of the former mayor Rolondo has your back with the Merkid Record book that you'll definitely want to pay attention to.
It's shaping up to be quite the adventure, so if you're ready to head out and start building, let's hope for a Western release coming soon so we can take all this building on the go via PS Vita!
