Titanfall Is Headed To Mobile Devices
Those big ol' Titans are shrinking down for smaller screens.
Titanfall hasn't been as big of a splash as its creators wanted. While it sold several copies and opened to decent reviews, it's not exactly been a killer success story for Respawn Entertainment. But now it's going to conquer a new avenue: the mobile market.
Respawn is partnering with Nexon to bring multiple mobile games to both the iOS and Android market beginning in 2016. There aren't any details on what kind of games we'll be seeing specifically, but you can bet one could be like the free-to-play PC edition of the game that was created for Asian territories. A mobile version of the game following the same sort of creation rules would more than likely do extremely well in the west, if games like Mabinogi Duel or DomiNations are any examples.
The games, according to Nexon, will be "all-new standalone games with original gameplay experiences," but we'll have to see what all that entails. Get ready to jump in a Titan next year while on the go.
