Read Only Memories Is A Retro-Inspired RPG Coming to PS Vita
Read Only Memories is a very interesting RPG from MidBoss that released last month for PC gamers. It's currently available for players on Steam, but now it's been greenlit for a Vita release as well. That means you can take it on the go to enjoy with you, and it also means now I'll probably give it the time of day since I'm rarely home and usually on the go.
The first trailer for the Vita version is available for viewing, but aside from the trailer, you might want to know what the game's about before making some sort of purchasing decision. You play as a journalist who gets mixed up with a machine named Turing with whom you end up unlocking the secrets of the city. It's a retrofuturistic tale with cyberpunk overtones and a cautionary adventure about the dark side of technology.
In short, you'll definitely want to check it out when it's available for the handheld. Skip the PC version and go for the portable edition. Or buy both. It's an awesome game with an interesting premise. Worth investigating further.
