Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympics Is Zooming to Store Shelves This March
Two iconic platforming heroes go head to head once more.
Mario and Sonic are at it again with Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, releasing March 18. Yeah, for some reason there's another one of these games coming out even though most of them are pretty lackluster in the end. Apparently people keep buying them, so it looks like it's a tradition we're going to keep seeing.
At any rate, Nintendo is going ahead with the release for March for 3DS (handheld fans do it better, of course) with a Wii U release scheduled for later this year.
As far as what events we can expect from the game, we'll be on the lookout for rugby, table tennis, beach volleyball, and the 100-meter dash for starters. It'll include, like always, a mixture of characters from both the Sonic and Mario franchises. It should be fun, but maybe it'll be better, too, this time around.
