Pokémon Rumble World is Getting a Physical Release in April
Free-to-play elements have been removed.
Last year Pokémon Rumble World released as an experiment in free-to-play by Nintendo. It proved to be super popular, but some were turned off by the freemium model. Those people can rejoice as Nintendo is bringing Pokémon Rumble World out as a physical copy with the free-to-play aspects altered or removed.
The physical copy will release on April 29 in North America, and instead of microtransactions, there'll be a way in-game to generate Poké Diamonds, and there'll be VIP Cards which will make things cheaper to buy. Other than the removal of the free-to-play aspects, though, there won't be additional content, but if you've been holding off on playing Pokémon Rumble World because you didn't want to support free-to-play, this is an excellent chance to try it out.
