Coca-Cola Wants In On The Cardboard VR Craze, Too
You could have a very fizzy future with VR if this came to pass.
Looking to get into the mobile VR scene but think the Google Cardboard viewers are too lame? Is soda more hip? You might want to check out Coca-Cola's contribution to the cheap cardboard VR headset revolution. Very soon, you could easily be turning a box of Cokes into your very own VR headset.
The video above shows off only some of the applications you could expect to see in the future from Coke, and that's not even limited to the soda company. What the video shows is that you can join the VR revolution relatively cheaply with items you've already got around you. That means you don't have to feel left out and there are cheaper, practical options over things like the HTC Vive or Oculus Rift.
It may not be coming to fruition just yet, but wait a few months. It'll be coming, and Coca-Cola won't be the only kids on the block doing it.
