There's A New Pokemon Mobile Game Coming, and It's Not What You Think
We all know about Pokemon Go on the horizon, but The Pokemon Company has unveiled another brand-new Pokemon game that's speeding to mobile devices. It's called Pokemon Co-Master, and it's a free-to-play title that aims to mix traditional Pokemon game elements with the strategy of games like Chess or Go. That sounds quite interesting.
The trailer is short but sweet, 30 seconds of Pokemon figures shown off on some sort of game board, then going to battle. There's not any sort of detail given in the video as to what we can actually expect from the game aside from the collecting element (which we know there'll be one) but it's exciting to see the game being unveiled. There's one hint as to what we might be able to see out of the game, as it being developed by Japanese company Heroz, which works on crafting AIs. So it looks like there could be an AI element to the game as well.
The game itself isn't releasing until later this year in Japan, without a western release date to be seen. Hopefully The Pokemon Company pushes it out in English for us to try out so we can eventually fill our phones with the Pokemon apps they deserve.
