Square Enix Will Consider I Am Setsuna for PS Vita If You Keep Begging
Square Enix just announced that it would be bringing its Project Setsuna title to PS4 and PC gamers in the west later this year under the name of I Am Setsuna, but skipped out on a possible Vita release. The Vita version is coming out in Japan, but was not planned for the US.
But if we're diligent about showing how much of a demand there is to bring the game to our favorite Sony handheld, there's a possibility! Director Atsushi Hashimoto, when speaking to USgamer at GDC today, if fans are vocal enough about bringing it over, the Vita version being brought west will be considered.
"Of course, there is a large Vita market in Japan. If there is a swell of demand in North America [for the Vita version], though, we will consider it."
If you want to see the game come out in the west, you'll want to get with Square Enix via official social channels and make sure the demand is communicated with the people who can help the best. Don't harass, but make sure they're aware of what you want to see!
