Spider-Man 2 and THUG2 Remix Ship
Two new titles from Activision now available on Sony's handheld...
Activision announced today that they have shipped Spider-Man 2 and Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix to North American retailers for Sony's portable gaming device, the PSP.
Based on the blockbuster feature film from Columbia Pictures and Marvel, Spider-Man 2 will feature realistic 3-D graphics with the same dynamic platform gameplay offered in its console iterations. Players will take control of Spider-Man as they fend of the notorious Doc Ock from destroying the city of Manhattan. A variety of new combo moves will be available for players to master throughout the 19 levels that the game has to offer.
Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix will feature four entirely new city levels in Las Vegas, Atlanta, Kyoto, and Santa Cruz, all containing their own original goals and challenges. Players will be able to join either Tony Hawk or Bam Margera on a World Destruction Tour, pulling off insane skateboarding tricks through the 13 available single-player levels, or facing off against up to three friends in 10 wireless multiplayer games.
"We are excited to have two of our biggest brands available as launch titles for the PSP," said Kathy Vrabeck, President of Activision Publishing. "Designed to leverage the processing power of the new platform, Spider-Man 2 and Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix deliver deeper gameplay experiences and graphical advancements that take handheld gaming to the next level."
Spider-Man 2 and Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix for the PSP are both rated "T" for Teen, and are each available at a suggested retail price of $49.99. For more information on the two games, check out Modojo's previews of Spider-Man 2 and Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix.
