Gamevil Announces NOM, Promotional Sweepstakes
Download the game and enter to win an HDTV
Gamevil USA, a recently established subsidiary of Korean-based mobile publisher Gamevil, has announced the upcoming launch of NOM, the company's first North American published mobile title.
Developed Gamevil USA's parent studio in Seoul, NOM is a unique one-button title that will have players rotating their phones as the character runs, leaps, and fights through ten different stages, each littered with bottomless pits, traps, hurdles, enemies, and a number of other obstacles.
To market the title, Gamevil USA has set up a promotion titled Gamevil Phe"NOM" Sweepstakes, offering contestants a chance to win a Samsung LCD HDTV, Apple iPod Videos, and iTunes gift certificates. The sweepstakes is scheduled to start upon the launch of NOM, and all those who wish to participate may do so by downloading the game onto their mobile device and then filling out a form online at www.gamevil.com.
"The NOM series has been enormously successful in South Korea, with each version generating over one million downloads," said Allen G. Lee, Gamevil USA's Vice President of Business Development. "This success, coupled with its stylish innovation in casual gaming has made NOM one of the most highly anticipated mobile games to be released in the United States."
