The Grand National Goes Mobile
First ever game based off the horse racing extravaganza to be available on wireless handsets...
Player One Limited, publisher and developer of mobile phone games, has announced that they have been awarded the license to publish The Grand National mobile phone game. Developed by Distinctive Developments, this new horse racing title is the first ever licensed Grand National video game.
Customise your own horse and jockey as you train in the art of Jump Racing to compete in a series of challenging tournaments. Facing off against some of the top jockeys in the world, players will have the opportunity to conquer the legendary fences of Becher's Brook, the Canal Turn, and The Chair as they become the ultimate Grand National champion.
"The Grand National is one of the most recognised events in the sporting calendar, watched by an audience of over 600million people in over 120 countries," said Pete Russell, Managing Director for Player One. "Player One is delighted to be the first publisher to bring this incredible license to market and to give people the opportunity to experience the thrill of the chase first hand!"
The Grand National will be available on most Java enabled handsets across all networks on April 1st.
