Zelda: Four Swords Coming to DS
Wireless multiplayer Zelda is on the horizon...
According to Japanese retailers, Nintendo has announced that the Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures will be brought to the DS. Whether or not this will be a whole new game, or simply an expansion of the GameCube version, has not yet been revealed.
For those who managed to get the full potential out of Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures on the GameCube, this should indeed be exciting news as the title featured a unique multiplayer take on the renowned gameplay of the Zelda franchise. Unfortunately, because the game required each player to have their own GBA to connect to the GameCube, Four Swords Adventures didn't receive the proper praise which many fans believed that it should've.
This new DS version is likely not to suffer the same restrictions as the GBA, however, with its wireless capabilities and the feature that allows multiple units to play together off of one game cartridge.
No specific gameplay details or a release date for Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures on the DS have been announced at this time.
