BloodRayne PSP Bound
The scantily clad vampire woman brings her fight to Sony's handheld...
Majesco has announced today that its action/horror series, BloodRayne, will be making a debut on Sony's PSP handheld. The title is currently in development by Full Fat and will see a release later this fall.
"BloodRayne has built a loyal following of fans and established herself as one of interactive entertainment's most popular action heroines," said Ken Gold, Vice President of Marketing for Majesco. "We're thrilled to see our franchise expand into the handheld arena and believe its fast-paced acrobatic combat will make BloodRayne a must-have game for the PSP handheld system."
In the game, players will take on the role of the BloodRayne, a half-vampire half-human, with an unquenchable thirst for blood. Engage in a frenzy of blood and gore as you make use of the unique "kill system", by linking chains and combos together in order produce bonus multipliers.
This PSP iteration of the series will explore BloodRayne's history, explaining character roles from previous games as well as introducing a whole new cast of characters. Additionally, the game will also make use of the PSP's wireless features, providing a two-player co-op mode with a second playable character.
BloodRayne for the PSP will make its first appearance at the Electronics Entertainment Expo in May.
