Lego Star Wars Ships to Retail
It's a winning combination, now available on the GBA
Eidos and Giant Interactive Entertainment announced today that Lego Star Wars: The Video Game for the Game Boy Advance has shipped to North American retailers.
This odd representation of the Star Wars universe built by Legos takes place during the prequel saga, Episodes I, II, and III. The entire world is made completely out of Lego and simple toys, giving the game a very distinctive personality.
"Lego Star Wars: The Video Game literally combines the 'force' of two childhood powerhouses, Lego and Star Wars, to create an action-adventure title designed to appeal to everyone, especially young game players," said Jefferson Dong, Global Brand Manager, Eidos. "Anyone who has ever known the joy of building with Lego blocks or been entranced by Star Wars will find themselves drawn in by this game."
The game will allow players to choose from over 40 characters to play as during their epic Star Was adventure. Each character will have their own unique abilities which must be used decisively in different situations.
Lego Star Wars: The Video Game is rated "E" for Everyone and will retail for $29.99 on the GBA.
