"Actors, wannabe actors and fans will be thrilled to share their 'Hollywood' experience for a chance to win a fabulous price package and be treated like a true celebrity," said Paul Maglione, president of Vivendi Games. "We have made it as easy as possible for fans to submit their entries. Whether they are online or on the go fans of Surviving Hollywood can submit their own flair to this innovative mobile game."
"Enabling mobile subscribers to truly contribute to the creation of fresh content for the games they enjoy is a tremendous opportunity for not only the gamers themselves, but the industry as a whole," said Oliver Miao, general manager of Vivendi Games Mobile's Centerscore Studio.
Surviving Hollywood, developed by Vivendi Games Mobile's award-wining Centerscore Studio, is an extension of the best-selling Surviving High School franchise. Surviving Hollywood plays on the glitz and glamour of the Hollywood entertainment industry and gives mobile subscribers the opportunity to fulfill their celebrity aspirations by overcoming the daily grind of Tinseltown in search of their big break. The game challenges players to make decisions centered on Hollywood-centric scenarios and storylines. Players start out as waiters and assistants and must work their way up the food chain to realize the ultimate dream of stardom. Throughout the game, players must juggle auditions, network at the hippest nightclubs and manage to maintain jobs that pay the rent. The game's outcome is dictated by the choices players make and the storylines are continually refreshed via weekly "update packs" that can be downloaded directly to the handset. Surviving Hollywood recently received IGN Entertainment's coveted Editors' Choice Award and an Editor's Award from Wireless Gaming World.
