Glu and Sega Europe Renew Partnership

Glu Mobile announced today that its long-standing publishing partnership with Sega Europe would be extended to include another round of Sega titles. Glu initially inherited the relationship when it acquired UK mobile game publisher iFone, and a similar extension announcement was made in early 2007.

Today's publishing announcement reads nearly identically to February's. At that time Glu announced it would be publishing Sega's Football Manager Quiz, Total War and Wonderboy across EMEA territories. Today's announcement stated that Glu will be publishing Sonic Golf 2D, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, The Golden Compass and SEGA Rally.

"SEGA is renowned for quality, engaging game play, and were pleased to extend our relationship to bring more of these world-class games to mobile consumers, Jill Braff, senior vice president of global publishing, Glu said in a statement. "Our relationship with SEGA has already delivered significant success and demonstrates Glus ability to bring to market the high quality games with partners that are true to the original title."
