Sony Preps Singapore PSP Launch
PSP-Fever Continues to Spread
Two months after Sony's official North American launch of the PlayStation Portable, the company has made public their intent to bring the handheld to Singapore. While it is still undetermined the titles that will be available at launch, possible online capabilities, or how many units Sony plans to allocate, the PSP is expected to ship May 12.
This will be the third region the PSP has launched in, and the second in Asia. Later in the year, however, Sony has plans on releasing the PSP in Korea, with full Internet-ready capabilities. Sony will most likely release launch information for other territories (such as Europe and Australia) in the near future.
More information about the Singapore launch will be made available in early May.
