The Room 2 Walkthrough - Chapter One Cheats & Tips

The first part of our walkthrough for the stunning new sequel to The Room.

We're slowly working our way through the brand new sequel to the blockbuster iOS and Android game, The Room. While you shouldn't have any trouble following the explicit early instructions of the tutorial, you'll soon have to deal with your first puzzle - and that's where we begin our The Room 2 walkthrough.

1

Rotate the central wheel around section by section, and slide in each of the outer pieces as and when they're in alignment. Slide open the drawer that appears, and tap on the lens to add it to your inventory.

2

Tap on the completed eyepiece to see a different perspective on the object in front of you. Tap on the fingerprint to open up a new slot, then grab the metallic piece inside to add it to your inventory. Tap the eyepiece to remove it.

3

Double-tap on the letter to the bottom-right of the image above, then grab the piece of metal just beneath it to add it to your inventory. Zoom back out.

4

Go back to the first table and zoom right in on the two slots next to the letter. Drag and drop the two pieces of metal you now have into those slots. Turn the two central wheels around until each presents a larger hemisphere to the center. Tap on the brass sphere that appears.

5

Still on the same table, zoom back in to the center of the big compass wheel, and drop the brass sphere in its center. You now need to find the correct code to enter into the panel of squares that's become available.

6

Use the lens while looking at the letter on the first table to get the code SESWN. Turn the marker on the compass wheel around so that it hits the directions in the order South, East, South, West, North.

7

Take the medallion that appears in the middle of the screen. Look at it in the inventory, and pull the arrows apart to reveal an object that needs to be used somewhere.

8

Use it on the middle of the box on the second table to reveal a sort of projector. While using the lens, steer the projector around and around until you've illuminated a number of red markings.

9

Turn the top half of the sphere in front of you until the markings align with each other.

10

You now need to rotate the projector until the glowing marking that's above it aligns with another marking on the screen.

11

Congratulations! You will now pass through this door and emerge victorious from the challenge of the first chapter!
