Warriors Orochi Coming to PSP

It's Lu Bu-san!

Koei's hack-and-slash crossover game will be making its way to the PSP.

Warriors Orochi takes the Chinese warriors of the Dynasty Warriors series and combines them with the Japanese samurais of the Samurai Warrior series for one star-studded video game spin-off.

Usually, a crossover of this proportion has requires one crazy story scenario. Warriors Orochi does not disappoint. Descending from the heavens, the evil Serpent King Orochi has distorted time and space in order to kidnap the best warriors in Ancient China and Feudal Japan. What was his reason for the kidnappings? To test his strength against those mighty warriors, of course!

The PSP version of Warriors Orochi will include all 79 characters from the console versions. Co-op between two players over ad-hoc wireless will also be featured in the game. Judging from the trailer below, the game is coming along quite well for Sony's handheld.

The PSP version (along with the Windows version) will be released in March. Warriors Orochi is already out on the Playstation 2 and Xbox 360.
