Dead to Rights: Reckoning Officially Announced
Slate and Shadow clean up the city...with a vengence
After weeks of speculation, Namco has finally announced that Dead to Rights: Reckoning is in development for the PSP. Jack Slate and his K-9 partner, Shadow, is once again back in crime-infested Grant City to investigate a missing informant who was gathering information on a major crime lord.
Slate once again has his choice of fighting styles as well as an array of weaponry as he and Shadow battle through many of the inhabitant gangs of Grant City. Atop an extensive single-player campaign Dead to Rights: Reckoning also features wireless multiplayer deathmatch.
Executive Producer at Namco Hometek, Pierre Roux, commented on the game's development: "Dead to Rights: Reckoning accurately translates the adrenaline-soaked combat of best-selling action series, and adds several new features that take advantage of the PSP hardware. The game's unique ranged and melee fighting engine and stylish disarms are sure to make it one of the most action-packed games on the PSP when it is released this May."
Dead to Rights: Reckoning seems to be pretty far along in development and is set to release in May at an estimated price of $39.99
