Stack your main deck formation with cards of the same Force alignment
Each character card has a light side, dark side, or is neutral to the Forceâ¢. When you complete the tutorial, you'll choose which side of the Force to play on, and cards that are on the same side will add a slight 'Force Bonus' toward ATK (attack) and DEF (defense) during battles. Building your formation with cards on the same side is the first step toward victory.
Include Leader Cards in your formations for Morale Boosts
When a Leader Card is in a formation, all cards in the formation will earn ATK and DEF bonuses during battles. This bonus is larger when the Leader Card is closer to the front, but be careful -- if the Leader Card is defeated during battle, you'll lose out on the bonus. Leaders who show themselves by going in front of battle and taking risks will increase the morale of the formation. As such, it's good to use a card that has high DEF and EVA (dodge) stats that are not easily defeated.
Enhance and Evolve your cards to increase their maximum level
Newly obtained cards start at Level 1, so they won't exert maximum power. Use credit or crystals to level up and increase their ATK and DEF. Higher rarity cards have a higher max level, which will require more credits, but the cards will be much stronger.
Leveling up cards to the max is not the end goal. Obtain the same type of card and level it up to the max will make it possible to 'Evolve' the card. Once evolved, the card's level will reset to 1, but the ATK, DEF and max HP will have increased, which gives you the opportunity to grow the card further by enhancing it again. Keep in mind that each card can only be evolved up to three times.
Utilize skill cards in your formation
"Skill" cards are valuable additions that can be triggered either at the beginning or during formation battles. Your Skill cards can ramp up your formation's abilities and stats or weaken your opponents to your advantage. Increase a card's Skill level with 'training remotes' that you obtain from events and rewards by accomplishing goals. Even if your card's abilities are lower than your opponent's, there is still a chance for victory if you have more effective or higher Skill levels.
Supporting and adding allies are critical to a successful long-term strategy
Gathering allies not only helps you in battle, but also helps you earn Ally Points (AP). These points are used to draw AP card packs, and in turn, allow you to trade for more cards. You also gain additional Parameter Points as your number of allies increases, which enables you to increase max formation cost or max EP.
