If You're Caught Cheating in Pokemon Go, Niantic Is Going To Ban You
Is it really important enough to you to cheat and get banned?
For some bizarre reason, people think it's necessary to cheat in Pokemon Go, and now it's resulting in some pretty serious ramifications: permanent bans.
According to an official announcement on the Pokemon Go website, Niantic has had it with cheaters and has decided to go ahead and get rid of player accounts caught violating any part of the Pokemon Go Terms of Service. There's a form available to appeal the ban if you happen to be one of the unlucky ones to bring it upon yourself, but that doesn't mean you're going to get back in.
Bans can be handed out for falsifying your location, using modding software, unofficial third party Pokemon Go software, emulators and more. This is all obviously in a bid to make sure the game is kept fair for everyone involved, so if you're using any of these clients you might want to make sure you cease as soon as possible so you don't end up sad without your Pokemon Go account. Then it's going to be a frustrating time for all.
