Pokemon Go's Latest Update Reinstates Some Location Information
One familiar feature returns and several others possibly coming?
Pokemon Go has just received its latest update, much to the delight of the massive amount of players still plugging away at becoming Pokemon Masters out there. The latest update reinstates the "capture location" feature that was previously available back when the game first released, but disappeared all of a sudden and forced players to rely on other methods to get by. Needless to say, it was a frustrating time for all, but now it seems Niantic has somewhat reinstated the feature, as well as a host of other updates.
Now there are additional pieces of information on where to find specific Pokemon in several locations, which you can find on the stat page for the monster of your choice. Since the Pokemon Go Plus peripheral is out in the world, there's also been support added for Incense. You can now utilize it while using the wrist-based peripheral, so any Pokemon you come across with the item will be up for grabs. There were also a few bug fixes slotted in as well, but these were the two main additions with the latest update.
Slowly but surely Pokemon Go is improving ever since its debut, but it's obviously going to take more time until it reaches its full potential as a fitting AR option for Pokemon fans and mobile gamers. Unfortunately, it seems to be losing steam and it might not be the powerhouse it once was going forward. Hopefully there will be a stream of leaps and bounds for the project ahead in the future.
