CES 2017: Nvidia Reveals The Nvidia Spot Home Assistant
The Internet of Things in your home grows ever larger with this new addition.
Nvidia has entered the home assistant game with the introduction of the Nvidia Spot, unveiled during CES 2017, taking place in Las Vegas currently.
Much like the Google Assistant and Amazon Echo, you can utilize the Spot to give voice commands and control items throughout your home. However, you can actually stick the Spot on a wall in your house of your choosing, unlike the competition. This makes it a much better choice if space is a premium or you want it to be out of sight, out of mind.
The Nvidia Spot has a microphone with positional networking and information that can help pick up your voice from nearly anywhere you are in your home. So if you’re in another room and need to pick up some quick information from another room, the Spot is perfectly capable of doing that.
The Spot will debut in the next few months, which will work fantastically with the Nvidia Shield set top TV box, which will now come with Google Assistant integration going forward.
