The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Gets Beautiful New Trailer
As we inch closer to the long awaited release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Nintendo has decided to grace us with a new look at this gorgeous iteration of Hyrule. One thing that should stand out to you right away is the trailer's almost complete lack of sound, particularly early on. That's not a bug, however, as this trailer focuses on setting the scene for this exciting new adventure, with only some environmental sounds to back up the bright visuals.
As spotted by Gematsu, the new trailer was updated onto the official Japanese site for the game. The third in a series of "Guard." movies, this one is titled "In this Destiny." The trailer's use of sound as it shows off the stunning world gives it a fantastically serene quality, which is fitting considering what we've seen of the game so far. From the Goddess statue of Skyward Sword, to the Koroks of Wind Waker, to the back-slapping Goron homage to Ocarina of Time, the trailer is chock full of little things for long-time fans to smile about.
We'll finally be able to get our hands on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild when it launches on March 3 for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U.
