1-2 Switch Gets New Trailers, Will Have 28 Games Total

The Japanese website for 1-2 Switch has been updated with new party game trailers.

1-2 Switch is the party game that Nintendo hopes will set the world on fire when the Switch launches next month, but many are no doubt worried about how much it will have to offer. Fret not, however, as the Japanese website for the game has now confirmed that it will feature 28 games to challenge your friends to. Some of them have even gotten new trailers to show them off.

10 new trailers were added for 1-2 Switch mini-games, but you'll have to settle for the Japanese trailers right now, as the American site has yet to update. At the top of this page you can check out the trailer for Sword Fight, where you'll need to manage offense and defense to best your opponent. Other games to receive trailers were Wizard, Telephone, Shaver, Runway, Soda, Baby, Joy-Con Rotation, Liar Dice, and Beach Flag.

Many of these are pretty self explanatory, but a few of them actually seem pretty unique, such as Joy-Con Rotation. Liar Dice is one that stands out to me, as it's obviously a take on the classic dice game, but the rules surrounding this version are a bit difficult to make out from the Japanese tutorial. Baby just seems like it would be too real for anyone who's actually had to put a baby to sleep before. A teaser image was also released for the final group of mini-games that have yet to be shown off, which can be seen below.

You can check out 1-2 Switch for yourself when the Nintendo Switch launches on March 3.
