Robot Unicorn Attack 3 Giving Backstories To Its Unicorns
It may not have pulled off its global launch yet, but it's already planning updates for those who have it now.
If you like your auto-runners to be of the robotic unicorn variety, then you might have been keeping an eye out for Robot Unicorn Attack 3. The title soft-launched less than a month ago, but there's still been no word on when we might see a global release for the ridiculous runner. Unfortunately this news won't change that, but we did learn that the developer is already planning updates for the game.
It comes with the usual performance tweaks, UI updates, and the like, but it also updates the game's colorful 3D backgrounds and adds a unique backstory for each unicorn. Which is important, because you can't just show me a unicorn with roller skates and not tell me what its deal is. All-in-all it's certainly looking like Robot Unicorn Attack. I'll admit, I don't find the 3D background as nice as the gorgeously drawn 2D of its predecessor, but it certainly doesn't look back, and I'm sure it's easier and cheaper on them this way.
Robot Unicorn Attack 3 is currently only available in New Zealand, Brazil, Canada, and Australia, but I can't imagine it'll be too long of a wait for the rest of us.
