Voez Is Coming To The Nintendo Switch Next Week
Developer Rayark's popular rhythm game will boast a new exclusive track when it lands in the eShop.
The Nintendo Switch has been dispersed into the loving, waiting arms of eager gamers across the world, and many players just can't seem to get their hands enough Switch games. Though the Switch's launch-day lineup is solid in its own right, Nintendo has already put into motion plans to have new games roll out for the hybrid console on a regular basis. One such title, a game that European and Japanese Switch owners are able to enjoy today, is called Voez. It's a kind of rhythm puzzler that's been enjoying moderate success on iOS and Android since May of last year, and it will be landing on the U.S. eShop next week.
Voez features a crisp, high-quality art style, and even boasts a story complete with six different characters who make up the musicians within the game's titular band. As for the gameplay, players look to be tasked with tapping the Switch's screen in time with downward-flowing prompts. The game boasts 116 different tracks, including one special Switch-exclusive song, and publisher Flyhigh Works has announced that free songs will be added in the future.
Voez will be launching in the United States on March 9, and will cost $25 within the Nintendo eShop. Players who are looking to make the most of the Switch's JoyCon controllers or TV Mode will want to look elsewhere, however, as Voez only makes use of the device's touchscreen controls, and can only be played in Handheld Mode.
